Engines of Chaos
Scott BaronRule One of space battles: Keep the battle OUTSIDE of the ship. Unfortunately, sometimes rules are broken.
Sadira had tracked her adversary across the galaxy, hunting down the violent aliens who had attacked Earth’s fleet without provocation. But the tables abruptly turned, and the hunter was now the hunted, locked in a battle spanning solar systems and the void of space.
But that was only the beginning of her troubles. An enemy was somewhere aboard her ship, and if she couldn’t overcome them, all would be lost, including her crew’s lives. It was a race against time and a battle of wits against an enemy the likes of which she had no idea how to combat.
Necessity was the mother of invention, and Sadira was certainly in need. The question was, would she come up with the means to save her ship and the crew depending on her in time?
